    Will somebody help George Will understand climate change?

    I nearly laughed out loud when I read this, which wouldn’t have been good as I’m at the office. George Will is instructive as to the general level of knowledge - or rather lack of - that pervades the conservative press and pundits. It’s no wonder the mainstream American conservatives provide so many eye-rolling moments for the rest of us.

    Acai berries: Good for you or your wallet?

    I just finished reading an article from Jennifer Huget, of The Washington Post, casting some serious doubt as to the benefits of the popular Acai berry and it’s various pills, capsules, juices and other products. I’m usually pretty skeptical when I see a lot of media buzz about the next food being bigged up in the press as a wonder cure … as my dear departed old Dad would’ve said ” cures, colds, moles, sore assholes and hickeys on the dickeys.” He was a Navy chief.
