This is huge: Wolfram Alpha computational knowledge engine

A friend sent me the link to this tonight. Oh, I thought, another cute search engine. Well that’s not what it is at all. After watching the two explanatory videos, and then seeing there was a mobile app - I immediately added it to my pc and iphone. This could turn out to the be the computing tool we’ve all been waiting for.

Have you ever looked through the web to find that one tool that would let you simply calculate something? From your Body Mass Index to mortgage payments to the comparative health costs between countries? What if you could find all of that and more in just one place?
