If the local Republicans are looking for a candidate who can really kick ass for the Nevada Senate, then Assemblyman Ty Cobb must be their man.
He can kick the crap out of his opponents campaign sign better than anybody.

In a less than manly display last night, candidate Cobb was caught kicking the daylights out of a campaign sign of opponent, Democrat Sheila Leslie.
Not exactly a ‘brain surgeon’ move on Cobbs’ part, it was after a Reno Bighorns dinner, in a very busy public intersection, with lots of people who’d just left the same dinner and recognized Cobb around to witness the less than Kodak moment.
Ah, gee shucks. It was just a bit of ‘goofy-ness’ according to Cobb, who later made a lackluster apology to Leslie, on the evening news.
Let’s hope that he is able to exercise more adult restraint when it comes down to more weighty matters.
As for me, I wish Nevada could attract a better class of candidate - some who see politics as less of a barely disguised casino burlesque review, and more of a way to solve serious problems in a civilized, rational manner.
Boys will be boys, I suppose.
Ty Cobb has demonstrated that he is just that - a bad, bad itty-bitty boy.
Who needs to be slapped.
