Nobody loves this blogger anymore?
Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 22:14 After the last weeks dismal numbers of visitors to this blog, I’d gotten kind of sad. Sunday night came along, time to write something for Monday Musings, and I couldn’t.
No steam. No fire in the belly.
Hells’ bells, hardly anybody reads it anyhow.

So, I says … no blogging for a week. Take a rest from it, and maybe the fire will come back.
For me, the ‘fire’ comes from two sources: A-outrageous events, B- numbers of loyal readers.
There have been times lately, when I wasn’t going to blog, but took a look at the numbers of readers, and thought : “I owe them something to read.”
So I would blog. And, feel damn good about it.
But, this last couple of weeks has been crap on a stick.
Worse than crap.
Sarah Palin. On my front door step. With a crowd of Tea Bag crazys out on the lawn, chanting.
“Maven is a Socialist!”
Actually, that would be cool.
But, I don’t understand the way my numbers - called analytics, in the blogger game - have been wildly gyrating between “HUGE” and “lower than whale shit”.
Hmmm. If anybody has a clue, let me in on it.
Otherwise, I’ll be reduced to pleading and begging and whining.
Not!
Maven, who isn’t exactly a Socialist
