Friday Fish Wrap: August 14, 2009
Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 20:34 Today’s Fish Wrap is a tribute to the music legend, and one of my all-time favorites for more than 50 years, the late, great Les Paul. This music legend single-handedly created the platform upon which rock and roll was created - the amplified guitar, reverb and multi-tracking.
His music was lightening quick, sure and incredibly clear. There was no uncertainty in the notes or the flow of the melody. With wife, Mary’s clear voice, their music flitted and darted like a hummingbird.
If you don’t have any Les Paul in your music library, then you should add some.
